Relevant scripture has been totally ignored or absurdly twisted to deny that Judas went to hell. The argument goes: since there's not a plain verse of scripture to prove that Judas went to hell, then he is in heaven. One need only apply the same logic to 100 other Bible questions/issues to see the weakness of it. May I point out: Nowhere does the Bible plainly say that Judas was EVER saved. Therefore, why assume that he was saved and went to heaven? I merely use the exact same logic to prove he was NOT saved that others use to prove he WAS saved and went to heaven. Yeah, he repented all right. Then he brought forth fruit meet for repentance by committing yet another sin -- suicide. Duh! I give up! I sincerely hope this is my final posting to the Judas thread(s). Apparently the Jesus-went-to-hell-and-Judas-went-to-heaven people already have their minds made up and refuse to be swayed by the Scriptures and reason. Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt. |

Johnny: I'm sorry, Johnny. While technically my note was addressed to your reply, you were not the intended target of it. Those comments were not aimed at you. I had something I wanted to say and I just clicked on the nearest post to a Judas thread (actually a Judas rope) and said it. I ought to have been either more specific or more general in selecting to whom to address my post. Using a shotgun approach was bad judgment on my part. Please believe me, Johnny, I have no quarrel with you. Your brother in the Lord, kalos |

Dear Kalos, It is ok, I am just making sure that this note is really for me so I can answer it, if not, at the same time I reminded the sender that his note is mistakenly sent to me. God bless, Johnny |
