1 | Does this mean that it is wrong to ask? | Rev 17:16 | glory777 | 59896 | ||
Man, I'm sorry I even answered this the first time and got the ball in a "spin"! Eschatology is an important part of the bible. We are to be prepared for what is to happen, know the signs to watch for and I believe it will be perfectly clear when it does - no debate neccessary. The book of Revelation especially comes along with a blessing for reading it(Rev. 1:3)so we should study it. We should know the order of things, even if they are not things we understand now. There is enough in the prophetic books to let us know the season is near but to guess at what specific roles certain leaders or countries will play in it is setting us up for ridicule. Pastor Glenn, you pointed out the hatred toward Christian missionaries, etc. Again, I could point to Hitler - who many thought was the antichrist - who hated Jews, Christians, etc. and set up means to try to eradicate them all. They were wrong, as we know. Other times in history, events made it seem as though the times were right. Now we see a lot more in our technological world that makes sense of the things written in Revelation. So, I do believe the time is nearer. But there are still things we do not understand, and until we do, I think we should pray about these things, keep them in our minds, keep our eyes open, do the work the Lord has for us now, and wait for the total revelation to be revealed to us. PEACE to you all- Debbie |

Very well said Debbie, However, about Hitler; Hitler and everyone like him in history matches up well to the following scripture (the dragon): Rev 12:17 So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. Bless You, Pastor Glenn |
