True that! I respect your forum, I will get together examples in the Bible of how God spoke through dreams, or a audible voice, etc. I've been a member of this forum for awhile now and I've always respected it.
2 | Hereing from God | 1 John 3:22 | fwiaskycap | 213264
I read Daniel chapters 3-4 this morning and Nebuchadnezzar had a dream that was, I guess its safe to say from God, but my point is that it was for him, not anybody else, to tell the king what was going to happen to him.
3 | Hereing from God | 1 John 3:22 | Val | 213283
Dear Fwiaskycap: Yes God spoke to Nebuchadnezzar in a dream. Who was Nebuchadenezzar? He was king over the whole known world. He had taken God's people captive. He was a major player in the history of Israel. God has a plan and purpose for his people Israel and for the world in general. Nebuchadenezzar was a king. To compare yourself with him would not be appropriate unless you were a king. Besides that we are living in a different era. We are living in a time of grace since Christ has since come to the earth and died and been resurrected. If you read all 66 books of the bible it helps us to see why leaders/kings today who completely blaspheme God are not brought low as Nebuchadnezzar was. I believe the answer is because we are living in a different time in the plan of God. So to compare ourselves with Nebuchadnezzar saying God should speak to us in a dream as He did Nebuchadnezzar would be out of context. Sincerely, Val |

Dear fwiaskycap, Sorry if I misunderstood you. I thought you did say that in your response to Doc. Here is your words: "Note: How can you say that hearing from God in a voice, or dream, or experience are for the "most", wrong. Just because you haven't experienced either one of those, that doesnt make you right. You are spreading hearsy. God's method in our lives may be different, but his character never changes. Your wrong brother, and anyone else to say that, God doesnt speak to us in dreams, or an audible voice anymore." |
