1 | Why did Jesus Go to Hell | 1 Pet 3:19 | Emmaus | 109461 | ||
Searcher, "Where is the Father?" I presume you want the answer "Our Father who art in Heaven." But Acts 17:28 also says "In him we live and move and have our being." And Psalm 139:8 says "If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there." "Is not God omnipresent ... cite Scritpure." See above citations." "Do the verses you cited say it is Christ?" Acts 2:25-27; 13:34 cites Psalm 16:9-10 in reference to Jesus and even says that it refers to Jesus, not David. Of course if you do not accept "sleep" as a euphemism for death as it is often used and if you do not believe that being raised from the dead is the same as being raised from among the dead but merely means being raised from the tomb, then we should end our discussion now having agreed to disagree.
