1 | All of the above? | Heb 11:39 | charis | 43279
Dear faithfolk, Blessings in the name of Jesus! So...All of the above? :-) Would you (then) go as far as to say that the New Testament promises to us just about anything we claim? Would receipt of desired blessings be 'proof' of faith? Or are we in a similar situation to the Old Testament saints, that it is faith in the promises that is blessing, not receipt thereof? Peace in Christ Jesus, charis |

God's word will not return to Him void. If He spoke the blessing, then whether you receive it or not, i will come to pass. You don't have to believe the blessing is for you too, someone else will. Like you said, the blessing to enter the promise land was for all, but only 2 made it. Did God change His mind, no, those that saw past the giants and believed God because God said it. Along with that required obedience. If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land (Isaiah 1:19).
