1 Corinthians 7:10-15 says the unbeliever must initiate the separation/ divorce, not the Christian. Moreover, Jesus said divorce for adultery was granted because of the HARDNESS OF THE HEART of the spouse who didn't commit adultery (Matt 19:3-10). Searcher |

This area can be interpreted two ways.Look again at verse 12, Paul said it was Him speeking and not the lord. Now reading the rest Paul leaves it up to the believer weather to stay or not. So if they decide not to stay with the unbeliever and depart, they are no longer bound. Say a Christian woman is married to man who she finds out later after they are married, is a satan worshiper,he likes to kill cats with his buddies on sunday night on the kitchen table and he tells his wife that she will not worship God any Longer. Then according to paul, she can devorce and not be bound. If shes no longer bound, there is no sin and she can remarry another Christian. | ||||||
