Hi, Mithun... In Jewish tradition, the body of a loved one is carefully cleaned, dressed, and prepared for burial by close family members. I'm of the opinion that Paul was thinking of this, as he wrote this particular passage. Since we look forward to glorification, we don't see the body as just an "empty shell."
