1 | Did death come by Adam to the creation? | Rom 8:22 | Morant61 | 106160
Greetings Colin! For someone who accepts evolution, I don't think that anything about Adam can be reconciled to their belief in evolution. If evolution is true, then Adam cannot have been the first man, death could not have come through him, and all could not have sinned in Adam. So, if you want to convice someone who doesn't believe the Bible that the Bible is true, you have a tough task on your hands! ;-) Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

2 | Did death come by Adam to the creation? | Rom 8:22 | flinkywood | 106176
Tim, Nope, I don't believe in evolution, it's a crock from top to bottom. Love did not come from a rock. Perhaps I'm being vague, so let me boil it down. I think human observation has established the the age of the universe as plus-12-billion years old, and the earth as at least a quarter as old as that. Therefore the 'days' of Genesis cannot be ltireal days, otherwise science, a gift of God, would contradict scripture. So, in light of the NT verses I cited, can we reconcile the evidence of scripture and the evidence of science? Colin |
