1 | How can I glorify God? | John 12:28 | Aixen7z4 | 105752
It is really a question for each person to ask himself and answer. The passages are there for all of us and we can know about the methods intellectually. But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself (Galatians 6:4).
2 | How can I glorify God? | John 12:28 | Makarios | 105757
Greetings Aixen7z4, I liked everything right up to 'then shall he have rejoicing in himself'.. In Galatians 6:4, I see that IF we have examined our own work (1 Cor. 11:28), then we may have REASON for boasting. Galatians 6:4 does not say that we can therefore boast in our own work. On the contrary, Paul states that we should only boast in Christ (Rom. 15:17; 1 Cor. 15:31; 2 Cor. 11:10; 2 Cor. 12:9; Gal. 6:14), since we have been crucified to the world (Gal. 6:14). Blessings to you, Makarios |
