1 | Is showing emotions a weakness? | John 11:35 | Danita. | 192473
Hi, a couple of us had a discussion the other day regarding holding your emotions to yourself. For instance one of us can not remember when last she's cried. She is always happy like nothing can get her down. Where can we find the answers to let her know it is okay to show weakness, she does not have to be strong all the time, to share her emotions is not a weakness? I would appreciate if anyone could help us. If you could guide us or give bible verses to assist that would be great!!! |

2 | Is showing emotions a weakness? | John 11:35 | Minister Bethune | 206708
Hello Danita, The first thing we have to do is not classify the act of crying as a weakness. Crying actually helps us by giving us a way to release the things that we hold inside. Besides, 2 Corinthians 12:9,10 speaks about Paul having the thorn in his flesh. Paul asked God to remove the thorn from him and the Lord replied "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Afterwards, Paul says that he boasts in his infirmities because he realizes that when he is weak, that is when he at his strongest. The power of God can overcome any level of weakness possible. |
