1 | Islamic View of Crucifixion? | John 1:4 | flinkywood | 99019 | ||
Taleb, this is well said. I know of a former missionary to Palestine who made exactly the same claim about the slaughter of Palestinian Christians by Israel, and so I ask why so many evangelicals extoll Israel yet never mention that it is a nation almost wholly unsaved, as wholly unsaved as any Muslim for sure. What mainstream evangelical do you know who's making this point from a pulpit? Also, isn't America under threats equal to or greater than Islam, i.e. its citizens and their monstrous appetite for porn and pleasure? What is deadlier, a summer of mind-sliming blockbuster movies, or your local mosque? The spread Islam is, I think, a symptom of American dissipation and open rebellion against God, but what is it about Islam that appeals to so many? What is American Christianity, chopped liver? Colin, "but what is it about Islam that appelas to so many?" This link will answer your question. it applies as much now as at the beginning of Islam. the link is to a chapter in a book that was written in 1932. It was very prophetic in anticipating the rise of Islam from the ashes of Colonialism. http://www.ewtn.com/library/HOMELIBR/HERESY4.TXT Emmaus |
