1 | Does the Father have a God? | John 1:1 | STTIL | 137615
I never said that what you have is tainted and what I have is not. The entire Word of God guides me, not one specific piece. I don't claim to know it all and I don't wrap anything in mysticisim. I'm not saying that I or anyone else is better or worse, I'm not saying that you or anyone else doesn't walk in the Word. I'm not saying that only one group of people, whether it is Unitarian or Trinitarian has the "special" knowledge that leads to salvation. It's all right there in God's Word, we as workman, just need to let It speak for Itself.

Hello STTIL, You said there was a good chance that English translations had gnostic influence, therefore what I have is tainted. It is unreliable. On the other hand, you do not believe that what you have for Scripture is tainted. Therefore, you are espousing elitism. You have already espoused mysticism by appealing to the mystery of whether we have proper translations, i.e. we can't know, so we must go by our personal experience. You again state that the "Word of God" guides you. Yet you have still not defined what that is. Still waiting. Steve |
