1 | Who or what does He give up? | Mic 5:3 | Makarios | 98656
Greetings Mommapbs! What is the difference between the Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of God? According to verses like Mark 1:15 and Matt. 4:17, Mark 10:15 and Matt. 18:3, I am convinced fully in my own mind that the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven are referring to the same thing. And I believe that a person would be hard-pressed to prove otherwise! :-) Blessings to you, Makarios |

Thanks Makarios! Rev 12:10 - "Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night." I hear what you are saying BUT, if Jesus tells us that the Kingdom is "at hand" and in this reference we see that is has "come", might they be the same yet adminstered differently? Heb 3:13 "But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called "Today," Just wondering . . . Blessings, mommapbs |

3 | Who or what does He give up? | Mic 5:3 | Makarios | 98661
Greetings Mommapbs! That is an interesting question.. :-) Mark 1:15 states, "..and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel." [NASB] Revelation 12:10 states, "Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night." [NASB] So, is the Kingdom of God "at hand", or will it come in some future time? The answer is that both are true! Both 'Kingdom of God' and 'Kingdom of Heaven' are spoken of in the present and future tenses by Jesus in the Gospels, and both are mysterious (Matt. 13:11; Luke 8:10) to those who do not believe. Both are not easily entered into by those who are 'rich' (Luke 18:25; Matt. 19:23). Blessings to you, Makarios |
