1 | Why didn't the priests tell the people? | Jer 2:8 | Makarios | 23087
Greetings Steve! The priests should be no more exempt in punishment than the people, since the priests are their 'spiritual leaders' and they led the way to apostasy. The rulers did just as well. "And walked after things that did not profit."- Says a whole lot! Blessings, Nolan |

3 | Why didn't the priests tell the people? | Jer 2:8 | Makarios | 23123
Yes, it is both a conceivable and Biblical conclusion that the priests and rulers of the people will incur a stricter punishment, since verses such as James 3:1, Matt. 23:8, Romans 2:20 and 1 Timothy 1:7 all pertain to teachers, and that teachers are responsible for the guidance of the spiritual maturation of the students underneath them. (And the Holy Spirit does the rest!) Blessings, Nolan |
