1 | God's wrath tribulational. | Revelation | casiv | 18572
All seven churches will be going through the tribulation that is why if you read Jesus says in REV 2 and 3 as he speaks to all the churches, He says that to each church those which overcome receive each a different promise. This is to those of the churches which overcome on the lords day. Jesus speaks to all of them because all the teachings today are listed within those seven and only two have no faults in the FATHERS eye. The FATHER always gives them a way out. Because they know who are those who say they are jews and are not but are the synagogue of satan, the wolves in sheeps clothing lying in wait to deceive. For this reason those two churches will not be tempted for they see through the deceptions.

I agree with that position. Except what do you mean by "This is to those of the churches which overcome on 'the lord's day'"?
3 | I agree, but I also have a question | Revelation | casiv | 18707
REV 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, REV 1:11 Saying," I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and what thou seest, wrtie in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea." Many will tell you these churches were along time ago but the Lord's day is in the future. We are to understand in the spiritual sense not the physical sense as many men do. Hope this helps. |

4 | I agree, but I also have a question | Revelation | Morant61 | 18715
Greetings Casiv! It is most likely that Rev. 1:10 refers to the Christian day of worship (Sunday). The phrase "Day of the Lord," refering to end time events, is the Greek phrase 'hemera tou kuriou.' While the phrase "Lord's Day" in Rev. 1:10 is the Greek phrase 'kuriaka hemera.' Thus, it is definitely possible (even likely) that the 7 churches refer to real churches at the time of John's writting. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

Yes Tim, the churches were in Johns time but you are to take the mind of christ(spiritually) remember and the book of Revelation is prophetic not historical in the understanding of the scripture. As for the Christian day of worship as Sunday, you are either in Christ all the time, everyday or you are not. The day is today and everyday not just Sunday. Some even think the day is Saturday and they call themselves Christians too, are they wrong? Where does it say we must worship on Sunday? |
