Hi I'm going to jump in here. Well we know that there is going to be 144,000 servants of God that goes through some part of the tribulation. We also know there are others that do not take the mark of the beast and are killed. Most consider them as saved. Many feel the saints under the altar in Rev. 6:9 are people that were saved during the tribulation and lost their lives. The references 1 Thess 1:10 and 1 Thess 5:9 on the “wrath” you mentioned are explained like this, many feel God’s wrath begins at the mid point of the tribulation and at this point every believer has either been raptured or killed and no new ones come into being. Others feel the “us” of those verses mean people that were saved before the rapture. They view the necessity of going through the tribulation as the penalty for not accepting Jesus sooner. Personally I favor the former, God’s wrath doesn’t take place until mid trib and by that point any believer has either been raptured, killed or martyred. In any case I see no believer making it through the Tribulation. Is this what your asking? Ed |

Does not Romans 1 describe God's "wrath"? God wrath is God "giving them up". | ||||||
