Also, you may wish to note that when the KJV of the Bible was written, the king had more to say about it than the KING. King James was a violent, given to fits of "off with their heads" and those doing the translation were very very careful NOT to cheese off the king. Some of it, needs to be revised, and was in the New American Standard version, which was translated directly from the ancient Hebrew, which has NO vowels, and the original Greek. Don't get mad at me....I really am not fond of the KJV, as it does have some errors. K |

Amendment to previous post: The Greek word "diakonos" (Strong's Number: 1249) is used 29 times in the Bible. In the NASB it is translated as follows: deacons 3 times, minister 7 times, servant 10 times, and servants 9 times. kate47: I'm not mad at you.
