lenpaul, In chapter 2 of second Thessalonians there was false teaching regarding the return of Christ that was getting in and being attributed to Paul and the others. Paul discusses this and the attitude of lawlessness and unbelief that was going on and would come. This is the context of verses 11 and 12. These folks are condemned because they refused to believe and they took pleasure in what was contrary to Gods Word. I'll go out on a limb and say this- anything contrary to Gods Word however convincing or inocent or convincing is wickedness. This might be a little simplistic but it fits. In Christ, lionheart |
