If there is no scriptural answer, it might be suggested that the matter not be discussed on an Bible forum. If is not of general interest, but a private matter, it might be suggested that it not be discussed on any open forum. A couple may decide such an issue between themselves or take it to a counselor. This is a personal opinion, for which I may be spanked, and this is not my forum. But I believe some matters must be kept private. I recommend this forum even to my patients, but I am embarrassed to see the present topic openly discussed. It has been dormant for some time and I suggest, respectfully, that it should remain so. |

Agreed, however be prepared to give answers to questions that will arise from time to time in respect of sxuality as documented in scripture. Some of which can be termed embarassing. My personal view is, if God allowed them to be put in the bible, then surely He must have desired us to discuss them in any forum. Otherwise, I totaly am in agreement with you. What happens in couples bedrooms is between them and their Lord. Seasons greetings. Andy. |

"What happens in couples' bedrooms is between them and their Lord." ..... A carte blanche approach such as this, it seems to me, opens up a Pandora's box. Even between a husband and his wife aberrant sexual behavior is easily possible. A doctrine of laissez faire in these matters becomes in effect a de facto sanction of such acts of human sexual perversion as sodomy, sadism and masochism, all of which can be practiced between a husband and his wife, but that does not make them any less perverted. I've been married over 44 years and I certainly do not endorse an anything-goes policy in the marital bedroom. Marriage is a sacred bond, instituted by God Himself, and should be viewed as sacred, in the bedroom and out. --Hank | ||||||
