Personal profile for user screen name: KaleoWaYesu Am a maried B.A. Christian man with one wife and three children; two daughters and a son. A retired airforce soldier. Currently I serve as a relief worker in one of the worlds long standing humanitarian crises. This has been brought about by war fueled by religious intolerance in the south of Sudan. I have come to appreciate what it means to have freedom of worship and what it means to be reffered to as 'blessed are the peace makers for they will be called sons of God'.Names: Andrew Mutai Koech. Nationality: Kenyan. Born: In the early 60's. No exact records then. B.A.: On 20.10.1996 in my living room while watching an NBA game on TV! This was through a visitation by a pastor who happened to be passing by... Church: Active member of Christ Co-workers Fellowship, Kapsabet, Kenya. Though comfortable in any bible preaching/teaching church. Favourite verse John 7:38. Favourites Books: The entire 66 books of the Bible. Max Lucado books especially the one on Grace. Belief: Simplicity of faith. I believe Jesus Christ to be the Lord of lords and King of kings. He came from glory as the Son of God, was born of a virgin, lived as a man, died as one and was buried as one. He rose from the dead and ascended to heaven and is soon coming back as Judge. I believe that He is the Son in the Trinity of; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. (still trying to learn this mystery!) I believe in water baptism by immersion as well as Holy Spirit baptism. I believe in the sacrament of the Holy Communion. I believe in a universal body of Christian believers albeit the different parts -denominations - and functionalities. Favourite Ministry Patterns: That of Jesus and apostle Paul. Acronym: KaleWaYesu means; Kaleo - Short for Kalenjin (A group of about 9 Kenyan tribes speaking a similar dialect better known for producing the worlds fastest middle and long distance runners). This phrase is tracebale to the 1940's when a few members of these sub-tribes bandied together while in high school and coined the phrase to identify themselves by and it stuck. It literaly means." I tell you". Otherwise it is a common phrase used when speaking in these dialects. Wa - is a swahili word translated 'of'. Yesu - is Swahili for Jesus. KaleoWaYesu: Thefore means 'I tell you of Jesus' or alternatively 'A Kalenjin of Jesus'. My friends call me Kaleo, Andy or AK. Finaly, I hate, no - HATE; Racism, Tribalism, Nepotism and any other ism that that does not reflect the Love of God. Add hypocrisy, dishonesty, mockery and corruption and you have my pasionate dislikes listed. There are others but these are the main ones. Thank you for the interest in my profile.
