1 | Did God create evil? | Gen 3:1 | Dalprad | 20260 | ||
Pardon me for anwsering a question not directed to me. The anwser is yes. Yes in the same way that you are guilty of creating a crime if your child becomes a criminal, only because you choose to have a child. Because you create something that turns out evil, does not mean you love or want that evil. God created a universe where evil is possible, but good is preferred. In your own words, you know, and I know, and all who read this thread will know, that you seem pretty determined to get your "Yes" anwser. I hope this is suffice. God Bless You |

Dear Dalprad...Thank you for your reply and I am happy to see that you are following this discussion. Your input is not to be "pardoned" but welcomed. You are correct. I was/am looking for a straight forward answer, yes or no, to my question to Lionstrong. He does argue for a "yes" but, so far has not said so. He may realize that God can not be the creator of evil. God is, by His nature, the standard of all that is good. God can not sin. Jesus was/is the sinless sacrifice. Unblemished. To create evil would be a sin by definition. Any other thoughts? God Bless....Jensen |

Pardon my bluntness, but this is the most convoluted theological statement I have ever read. How can you possibly find Scripture to support your thesis? --Hank" On 05-16-2001, in reply to another posting by Lionstrong, Charis wrote: "Dear Lionstrong, Sir or Ma'am, the first two questions are Yes and Yes. The third question makes me question your faith in God. The fourth question is nigh blasphemy. "Any proclamation of faith in God through Christ Jesus should answer these questions . . . " "In Jesus' name, charis" |
