Bible Note: Thank you for the explanation, Mel! I have never quite looked at the apostle John in that way before. Do you believe that the claims that you have mentioned outweigh the claim that some people have that it will be Moses and Elijah, since Moses appeared with Elijah at the Transfiguration? Also, do you believe that the case that you have made for the apostle John is greater than that which could be made for Enoch, who was taken from the earth? Most of the time, we hear of Elijah with either Moses or Enoch when we begin to muse about who these two witnesses will be. But you have made an interesting case for John.. I may not entirely agree with you at this point, but I will look at your website to see what you have written. But I see no "harm" in your case, and I appreciate your explanation!
