Personal profile for user screen name: wayhunter What's in a name? It was at the turn of the millennium that I realized and marvelled at the import of my given Christian name. My elder brother's name was James Apollo. My second name is the name the Greeks at Lystra in Lycaonia called Paul (Acts 14:12). My surname is Spanish for Baptist. Realizing the import, I feel humbled but hopeful; and I wish I could live up to what they stand for.I am trying my best that's why I registered and joined this Bible Study Forum. Although I rely much on the Holy Spirit, still I am looking forward to meet new friends who may be able to help me in my quest for the Way of the Lord. I am married with six children (4 boys and 2 girls) and eight grandchildren (4 boys and 4 girls). I used to be a manufacturing executive, but now I am a consultant and a teacher (I teach engineering management, someday I wish I could teach the Bible -- I've been looking at Masters Divinity School -- because I know it's the Last Chapter that counts; Ezekiel 18:21-29 and Luke 23:39-43). I have been reading the Holy Bible since 1984 (one chapter a night); but it was only at the turn of the millennium that I started to get the meanings and messages of some passages or verses in the Good Book. I would like to share some of these (if anyone is willing to listen) and I am ready to listen to what they have to say. That's the way we could learn. Thank you and may GOD bless you.
