Personal profile for user screen name: shamrock Hi Everyone,My name is Pat. I live in the Foothills of Kentucky, but not a naturally born Hillbilly. I was born and raised in Philadelphia. My husband and I met 38 years ago when he was in the Army, hence the transplant to KY. We have been blessed with two wonderful children who know the Lord. We are very thankful he has kept them safe from the difficulties many are going through today. I guess the reason I am so conscious of this is because I work for a Judge in the Circuit Court in my County and am in the Courtroom daily. To give you my testimony would be impossible in this small space. It would probablly take volumns. But the short and sweet of it is that I accepted the Lord as my saviour 43 years ago. He has shown and taught me so many things. The most important is the simplicity of His will for us. It all boils down to seeking Him and from that He is always with me in everything I do. I can actually stand back now and observe my God in action. Finding this forum is Godsent. I came here with a question and two wonderful members helped me to confirm what God had already shown me 30 years ago. Although I've been in Christ for 43 years and with everything He's shown me thus far in my life, I was beginning to wonder if I was shirking my responsibility as a Christian. This is why I say this forum is Godsent. There always come times in our life where we need to be guided and reassured by loving Christian brothers and sisters. I thank God for Christians who lift up the Body of Christ with love and not drag it down with pride. I pray the Lord will use this site to help me grow and also that I might in some small way help another grow in His love.
