I have known our Father, Almighty God, since I was quite young. Later, as a teenager, I came to know and trust in my Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ.

I have been blessed with four children, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Bible study has always fascinated me and drawn me closer to God and Christ. My curiosity and thirst for greater knowledge and understanding of Scripture continues to "grow" me up as I mature in my Christian faith.

The KJV of the Bible is my favorite translation, as my spirit has bonded most fondly with its beautiful, poetic language style.

Perhaps I shall add more here, as we become acquainted and comfortable.

"The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26

I shall wrap this up with a prayer by a favored author and preacher, A. W. Tozer:
"O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully aware of my lack of desire. O God, the Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I pray Thee, that so I may know Thee, that so I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love within me. Say to my soul, "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." Then give me grace to rise, and follow Thee up from this misty lowland where I have wandered so long. In Jesus' Name. Amen."

Shalom!
