Ps 5:6 You destroy those who speak falsehood; The LORD abhors the man of bloodshed and deceit.
Ps 5:7 But as for me, by Your abundant lovingkindness I will enter Your house, At Your holy temple I will bow in reverence for You.
Ps 5:8 ¶ O LORD, lead me in Your righteousness because of my foes; Make Your way straight before me.
Ps 5:9 There is nothing reliable in what they say; Their inward part is destruction itself. Their throat is an open grave; They flatter with their tongue.
Ps 5:10 Hold them guilty, O God; By their own devices let them fall! In the multitude of their transgressions thrust them out, For they are rebellious against You.
Ps 5:11 ¶ But let all who take refuge in You be glad, Let them ever sing for joy; And may You shelter them, That those who love Your name may exult in You.
Ps 5:12 For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O LORD, You surround him with favor as with a shield.
Ps 6:1 O LORD, do not rebuke me in Your anger, Nor chasten me in Your wrath.
Ps 6:2 Be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am pining away; Heal me, O LORD, for my bones are dismayed.
Ps 6:3 And my soul is greatly dismayed; But You, O LORD--how long?
Ps 6:4 ¶ Return, O LORD, rescue my soul; Save me because of Your lovingkindness.
Ps 6:5 For there is no mention of You in death; In Sheol who will give You thanks?
Ps 6:6 ¶ I am weary with my sighing; Every night I make my bed swim, I dissolve my couch with my tears.
Ps 6:7 My eye has wasted away with grief; It has become old because of all my adversaries.
Ps 6:8 ¶ Depart from me, all you who do iniquity, For the LORD has heard the voice of my weeping.
Ps 6:9 The LORD has heard my supplication, The LORD receives my prayer.
Ps 6:10 All my enemies will be ashamed and greatly dismayed; They shall turn back, they will suddenly be ashamed.
Ps 7:1 O LORD my God, in You I have taken refuge; Save me from all those who pursue me, and deliver me,
Ps 7:2 Or he will tear my soul like a lion, Dragging me away, while there is none to deliver.
Ps 7:3 ¶ O LORD my God, if I have done this, If there is injustice in my hands,
