Bible Question: What happened to Samuel's two sons, Joel and Abijah? It was very clear what happened to Eli's sons for their evil hearts...but I can't find anything about Samuel's sons after he appointed them judges and they were pointed out to have evil hearts and took bribes, etc. |
Bible Answer: God's day to you, Miss Patti, and welcome to the SBF, The only thing the Bible says about Samuel's two sons, Joel and Abijah, is found in the first few verses of 1 Samuel 8. Notice in verse 5, it says YOUR ways, not the way of GOD. Samuel did not learn from Eli's interaction with his sons. I have seen pastors and leaders who did not pay attention to their family.
