Bible Answer: I think he was hoping them to recant, "Oh, in that case ..." Some warnings we ignore, like the Israelites ... because we want to do it our way and we think we know better. We have told warned our children about several things. Sometimes they heed, other times they don't ... for the same reason. There were consequences and some have not been fully realized. Paul's warning in Acts 27:10 was unheeded (vs 11) and he even said I told you so (vs 21) when lives were in danger. Yes, our children are forgiven. Steve |
