Bible Question:
Why won't He answer, He did during the judges? Why won't He answer us today? |
Bible Answer: Question: Why won't He answer, He did during the judges? Why won't He answer us today? An answer: "Why won't God answer us today?" Who says He won't? According to James 1:5-7, if you ask God for wisdom to know what you should do, he will give it to you. James 1:5-7 (Today's English Version) But if any of you lack wisdom, you should pray to God, who will give it to you; because God gives generously and graciously to all. But when you pray, you must believe and not doubt at all. Whoever doubts is like a wave in the sea that is driven and blown about by the wind. If you are like that, unable to make up your mind and undecided in all you do, you must not think that you will receive anything from the Lord. James 1:5 (GOD'S WORD Translation) If any of you needs wisdom to know what you should do, you should ask God, and he will give it to you. God is generous to everyone and doesn't find fault with them. Matthew 7:7 (NASB) "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. --JVH0212 "In essentials unity, in nonessentials liberty, and in all things charity." |
