Bible Question (short): What pastor or church can be trusted |
Question (full): I listen to Joyce Meyer every morning on our Christian tv network, now I am hearing and reading some things about her that I don't like. I loved Jimmy Swaggert, and look how that ended up. I really like John Hagee and so far have heard nothing bad about him. But I am beginning to believe that I should only ready my bible and not listen to ANY PASTORS because every time I find one I like, here comes something about them that may or may not be wrong. Why is that???We try to do right, read our Bibles, try to live the way God wants us to and go to chruch, and bang, you find out something negative about the church or preacher or someone in the church. WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO AND WHERE ARE WE SUPPOSED TO GET TEACHING AND FROM WHAT PASTOR OR CHURCH???? This is getting really silly and can be harmful. Would like your thoughts on this. Thanks, Shell |
