AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Samuel 28:6 So Saul inquired of the LORD, but the LORD did not answer him, either by dreams or by Urim [used like lots by the priest to determine the will of God] or by prophets. [Prov 1:24-30] |
Bible Question (short): Samuel cursed because he saw a medium? |
Question (full): My question is: It appears to me that Samuel only told Saul what God has said earlier. I often read that the statements said by Samuel made were because Saul had went to the medium. "People" say that because Saul went to the medium Samuel's words were essential a curse that was brought about because Saul went to the medium. To me it doesn't appear so. Any thoughts? |
