Why did God say for David to deliver the Philistines to Keilah? Whats the signifigance of this statement? |
Bible Answer: Sammav, it does not say "to deliver the Philistines to Keilah," but "attack the Philistines and deliver Keilah." The reason was the "Philistines are fighting against Keilah and are plundering the threshing floors" (vs 1). David asked the Lord, twice (vv 2, 4). When he learned the citizens of Keilah were going to hand him over to Saul, he left (vv 9-13). Steve |
