Bible Question: IN 1ST SAMEUL CHAPTER 2 VERESE 13-17 EXPLAIN TO ME HOW ELIS TWO SON SACFRACIES TO GOD WAS DEFILED. I DO NOT QUITE UNDERSTAND WHAT IS WRITTEN THERE. |
Bible Answer: The key scripture is vers 12 Eli's sons were wicked men; they did not know the LORD. God had an established legal proceedure and the sons of Eli had no regard for God, no fear. The sacrafice was to be BOILED and the priest's servant was to insert a 3 pronged fork(trinity symbolism) and whatever was pulled up belonged to the priest. The sons of Eli decided they did not want the sacrifice to be boiled and threatened any of the people who opposed. They became arrogant to the point that they had no regard for God. |
