Bible Question:
I pray about the samething every night. I got tired and bored with my own praying content. Does GOD get bored with my prayer? |
Bible Answer: Greetings carats5! I do not believe that it is the 'exact wording' that our Lord is concerned about when we offer up prayers to Him. If you look in verses like 1 Samuel 16:7 and Psalm 51:16-17, you will see that it is a person's "heart" that the Lord is constantly focusing on, not the specific words or abilities of a person. It is your "heart" or motivation for the prayer, not just the prayer itself, and this is what the Lord notices first. Perhaps you should find other things to pray about, other aspects of your life, that would make your prayer life more interesting. I pray that you will gain confidence in your daily prayer!
