AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Samuel 15:23 "For rebellion is as [serious as] the sin of divination (fortune-telling), And disobedience is as [serious as] false religion and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He also has rejected you as king." |
Bible Question: If you know you are under unrighteous leadership, and have been called to ministry in some form, but you also know it's not time to leave that church just yet......Do you submit to your current pastoralship and go to him telling him about your call? My wife and I hold bible study groups at our home and do not want to be out of order. |
Bible Answer: Oshebar If you know you’re under unrighteous leadership what do you hope to accomplish there? If you thinking of starting your ministry from the people under this corrupt leadership you setting yourself up for a major disaster. Remember everyone carries baggage and if these people are under unrighteous leadership and can't see it for themselves they have baggage you don't want. If they do see it as unrighteous but are going with the flow, planning a "revolt" then that is baggage you don't want either. If you can't be loyal to the leadership you need to get out of the situation immediately. You need to get as far away from this situation as you can. If you are called into ministry build your ministry with your own sheep not ones you stole somewhere else. I have seen many men try to justify stealing sheep from unrighteous and corrupt ministries to their own hurt. They reason these people need to worship somewhere and they are providing a “good” ministry. They mover in deception taking these people and deception now fills their ministry. Ministry is hard enough when you do everything right don’t think you going to jump start it by something that you will regret later. Two wrongs don’t make a right. EdB |
