Bible Question:
Hi, I have been told that in the new testament, it mentions, that there will be no more miracles like the ones performed by the disciples. Would anyone happen to know if this is true and if so, where would I be able to find it in the new testament? |
Bible Answer: John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. I personally have seen many miracles on the level as those performed by the disciples in the N.T. The "greater works" Jesus Christ was talking about is getting others to the point of being born-again (Romans 10:9 and 10); this was not available until ten days after Christ's ascension on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2). |
