Subject: Was John the Baptist a Priest? |
Bible Note: Hi, Jalek... We function in a public venue. Everything that we say is a matter of public consumption. The Terms of Use are also a matter of public of record. Perhaps as you learn to participate within our gracious host's guidelines, others will do so as well (Proverbs 1:5). We are, of course, particularly concerned about the many silent readers for them, our replies and responses either instruct in concert with Him with whom we have to do, or in discord with Him (Mark 9:40). Correction is a cherished thing (Proverbs 12:1); for as we apply what we are taught, we are able, more and more, to improve our pedagogy (Titus 2:1; Ephesians 4:29), for which thing we will stand in judgment (Matthew 12:36). Some people have an agenda other than sola Scriptura, some people are more concerned with self-justification, some people are simply cantankerous, some people are unteachable, and some people come to the forum to post but briefly. In my opinion, more can be achieved by encouraging someone like you: in deference to our host, to the benefit of our readers, and to the glory of God.
