Subject: Role of women in John 4, 12 and 20? |
Bible Note: Dear moyekoli, For your information, the forum is not designed for doing homework assignment for users. In concern with your topical study, I would suggest that you compare the relevant scriptures with those in other Gospel Books to see the differences in order that you may grasp the idea and focus of how John convey the message. (It would not be necessarily relevent to your topic of study for the whole bible is talking about Christ not any other human beings.) For example, John 12:1-8 you cited, the same instance was recorded in Luke 7:37, Mat 26:7 and Mark 14:3 but only John mentioned the name of the woman. What does that mean in concern with John's perspective? I leave it to you to find out for yourself. But bear in mind that anything that is not clearly stated in scriptures is only our speculation. Hope the above helpful. Shalom Azure |
