Bible Question: If someone told you they had a vision after someone had died and in this vision was the Lord and other known family members taking the new one by the arm and leading them, what would you say? Would you believe them or think they are fradulent? |
Bible Answer: Greetings, How does one actually differentiate between a vision and a dream? Be that as it may, if it is contrary to what is stated in Scripture it is in opposition to the Word of God and it can’t be truth even though the experience might have been very real to the one having the vision or dream. At any rate it’s a good opportunity to witness for the Lord to the person if they don’t know Christ personally. Matthew 22:44 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool? Scripture states that Christ is still “seated” at the right of the Father. Scripture does point out that a believer was escorted when he left this life but the escorts are angels and it doesn’t say if this is always the case with believers. Luke 16:22 (A) So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. My understanding, CDBJ |
