Subject: Biblical basis for office of Deaconess? |
Bible Note: I'm not sure what is meant by the Note of acts 2:17 but if you have studied Christ's New testament you will have learned that this verse refers to the day the Day of Pentacost when the Apostles ONLY were given the power of the Spirit and the remaining day of their lives when they were allowed to pass this power to other people but when the apostles had all died this power to mankind no longer existed. 1 Corinthians 13:8 ¶Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. Christ said "Many are called but FEW be chosen" so 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Don't take my word for it LEARN Christ's WORD. |
