Bible Question: Does Elizabeth have the authority to be Queen when she denied her oath to serve the Father of Christ as the One and Only God, as the One and Only True Way of Life? |
Bible Answer: The question is, can we serve anyone, any country, anything other than God, and does taking an oath to any of those violate complete dedication to Christ? Remember, there are "TWO" great commandments, and those who love God will seek to folow both. "Love the Lord your GOd with ALL your heart, ALL your soul, ALL your mind, ALL your strength, and, Love your neighbor as yourself. Any oath that doesn't "REQUIRE" you to violate what God commands us to do is merely supplimentary. If you are married, you took an oath before God. From what I see, this is the same thing. By the way, I have written things out of "Oaths" of office, or modified words when I have made them, as I have also changed words in contracts and agreements, as the wording was in violation of the commands of God. Most employers ask you to sign an agreement, or make an oath as well. In some cases the changes precluded me from being in positions of employment, leadership and authority. In others, my alterations resulted in a complete rewrite of the "Oaths", contracts and agreements. There is no reason not to stand up for the truth, with the understanding that you will take no oath that requires you to violate your oaths and committments, to God, Spouse, family, church, mankind, ... |
