Bible Question:
Hello! Can someone please give me the scriptures to where I may find the following phrases in the bible: 1. No weapons formed against me shall prosper.....What does that mean? 2. The faith of a mustard seed can move a mountain 3. If God be for you, who and what can be against you 4. Whatever you bind on earth shall be loosed in heaven (I think it goes something like that).....What does that mean? 5. The devil is the author of confusion 6. The enemy will produce out of his kind 7. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God I know this is a lot, and I really appreciate the ones that will take their time to respond! God bless you! |
Bible Answer: Shalom jesus1km, I can help with some of these, someone else surely will be able to help with the rest. 1 - No weapon is in Isaiah 54:17 "No weapon formed against you shall prosper. And every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness in from Me." Says the Lord. 2- mustard seed is from Matthew 17:20 So Yeshua said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move and nothing will be impossible for you." 3 - if God be for you - I'm still looking for this one 4 - binding and loosing is in Matthew 16:19 and 18:18 "And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." and "Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on eareth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." 5 - I could not find about the devil being the author of confusion but I found this, just the opposite 1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints. 6 - enemy's produce can be found in Matthew 7:15-20 Mat 7:15 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. Mat 7:16 By their fruits ye shall know them. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Mat 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but the corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. Mat 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Mat 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Mat 7:20 Therefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 7 - hearing is from Romans 10:17 So belief cometh of hearing, and hearing by the word of Messiah. Hope this helps Still looking for the one :-) Cheri |
