Bible Question (short): Is it Biblical to take up an offence |
Question (full): A family member of mine is really angry at another family member of mine. They want me to empasize with her and support her in her anger. I talked to my mentor and told him that they wanted my empathy and he said it sounded more like she was asking me to "take on the offense of another" and said it was not scriptural. He suggested to go to the internet and see what came up and I stumbled onto this sight. I'd be interested in any insight. I'm a Christian and want to do the right thing, but right now I'm caught between a rock and a hard place. Prentiss |
