Bible Question:
hi all my question is on how to introduce myself via self-discovery and exploration to New Testament Greek and Old Testament Hebrew, further than the basic "oversimplified" (in my friends' views) resources at blueletterbible.org and esword freeware (Strongs is oversimplified and not true accurate diction in scholarship) i would be interested particularly in studying and comparing at most one chapter per study session of two hours or so with the KJV orand NASB any booklist, good websites, links etc to recommend? |
Bible Answer: Dear mitey, When you've got a few years of formal Biblical language training under your belt, a critique of the works of Dr. James Strong, and the additional hundred or so scholars who assisted him, will be of slightly more interest. However, if you deem his scholarship lightly now, I rather doubt you'll think highly of anything else offered for your perusal.
