Subject: Salvation for the Gentiles |
Bible Note: Hello Yen, Maybe we should clarify? If you mean by "mankind", Gentiles, then yes I'd agree. Salvation has always been through grace by faith! However, prior to Christ's atoning sacrifice, one had to be a (proselyte) Jew to be saved! John 4:22 tells us, "...for salvation is from the Jews." (NASB) Paul instructs in Ephesians: Eph 2:11-Therefore remember that formerly you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called "Uncircumcision" by the so-called "Circumcision," which is performed in the flesh by human hands-- Eph 2:12-remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. Eph 2:13-But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. (NASB) Speakg the Truth in Love, BradK |
