Bible Answer: Shalom Insearchof, For the most part, most "why" questions require pure speculation...this one also. My 2cents worth is this: everything else God separated was opposites - light/dark, land/water etc. - but when He separated the waters He divided something that needed no division except to make room for man. So, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't good (to Him) either (notice Rev. 21:1b). :o) Cheri |
