Subject: RAPTURE |
Bible Note: Hi Kalos, Doesn't the "pre-wrath" rapture view necessitate a "two-stage" coming? If Jesus returns in the sky, and raptures the church before judging the earth in His wrath, and then, following the completion of His wrath, actually lands on the earth, does He just kind of hang out in the sky during this time of wrath? After all, the 5th trumpet alone is 5 months in duration. The trumpets and bowls are all called plagues, and the bowls are the last seven plagues, and in them God's wrath is completed. So the trumpets and bowls are all the wrath of God, they are inseparable. There must be quite a few months between this "pre-wrath" rapture, and Jesus' actual arrival on the Mount of Olives. Wouldn't you say that this is a common feature shared by both the pre-trib and pre-wrath views? And to say that the idea of a "two-stage" coming isn't right disagrees with the pre-wrath view in exactly the same way as the pre-trib? Love in Christ Mark |
