Bible Question: How can God love us all but still send thousands of people to go to hell everyday? God is sopposed to love us more than anyone else. I can't imagine someone who loves us so much say "beleive me or go to hell". Please tell me a proper answer. Like an answer that is not "because He judges them". The bible does say that He is omnipotent. Then why doesn't he stop those people from burning? |
Bible Answer: Dear Neo Cortex, Your question is very simple, yet complexed enough to some up the meaning of Christ and His love for us. In the begining, God walked with us in the garden, then mankind sinned and separated all of us from God. Because God is Holy, without sin. God cannot except our sin and be Holy. So... we brought this judgement on ourselves ... we sin... we burn. Isaiah 35:8 " A highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not journey on it;it will be for those who walk in that Way;wicked fools will not go about on it. The last part of your question states " then why does't he stop those people from burning?" WEll the answer to that is all to easy... God looked down at mankind (created in His image) and he loved us so much He gave up His own Son (Jesus) to be crucified by mankind and put to death, so that any and all who believe in Christ' salvation would be saved from hell, redeemed by the blood of the Son of God and made clean again by the power of His Holy Spirit.
