Bible Question: I do not believe in Evolution, but why do dinosaurs like the T-Rex have big sharp teeth for eating flesh, if before the flood they only ate plants? |
Bible Answer: Hi th35p33d welcome. That's a very good question and I don't really have an answer. It is the "traditional" belief that meat was not eaten back then. But I don't see a necessarily definitive view of that from scripture, and I don't think that they would need those teeth if they did not eat meat. But I don't think that is important and we can get into quite a debate on subjects like that, and I think the enemy would like that wouldn't he? God didn't answer a lot of questions, but what he did tell us is, really all we need to know. It's an interesting subject, but not one that brings us closer to knowing the one who created everything, and that is God. It's easy to go down these trails and get sidetracked from serious Bible study. I hope this helps, and I hope that you get into the word in a way that brings you to a closer walk and better understanding of God, and His message of salvation through Jesus, and what He did for the world by dyeing on the cross for you, me, and anyone who calls on Him. God bless. John |
