Bible Question (short): Relationship understanding

Question (full): Hi all and today I would like some perspectives on love between a man and a women and some guidence.

My ex-girflriend and I were together for about 5 years and for the past year and a half I think it was a lie because she ended up being unfaithful to me, because of signs and such and proof I've gotten.

You know I still really care for her, and she says she watns it back but she also still wants to be friends with her guy friends, but people tell me I should leave, but I still feel I love her but then again were not together yet.

Any advice I could get would be helpful, because I want it to work out and if it were to work out I would marry her, but I need to make sure doubts and such are ok first, and I'm just not sure how to approach it and what to do..
